Ever since I was a little girl, I have loved to learn.  My curiosity was never satisfied.  While in high school, I realized that I was burdened with the desire to help others.  Thus, I decided to combine my passion for learning with my desire to help others by pursuing a career in medicine.  While in undergraduate school at Pensacola Christian College, I realized that the most effective and influential physicians are educators.  Therefore, I decided to gain practical experience by teaching secondary science in a Christian environment.  My favorite part of teaching is being able to show students how everything in our world gives glory to God.  I enjoy singing, reading, and hand-lettering.

My life’s verse is Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”  I love this verse because of its simplicity.  If we whole heartily trust our God, He promises to guide us step-by-step.

I find humor and practicality from the following quotes: “Never stop learning” and “Work smarter, not harder!”

“There are only two ways to live your life: as though nothing is a miracle or as though everything is a miracle.” –Albert Einstein
