Heritage Christian School is a dynamic, K3-12 Christian school located in Cleveland, Ohio. Heritage Christian School is a ministry of Cleveland Baptist Church. Since its establishment in 1974, HCS has existed to encourage and assist families committed to fulfilling the biblical mandate to rear their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

Role Description

This is a part-time OR full-time, on-site role for an elementary music/piano teacher at Heritage Christian School in Cleveland, OH. The music teacher will be responsible for teaching elementary music classes and private piano lessons.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in music education or related field preferred
• Teaching experience is a plus
• Must be a born-again believer
• Must be dedicated to train young people with a biblical worldview
• Must agree with the doctrinal position, mission, purpose, and philosophy of Heritage Christian School
• Must attend, join, tithe and serve at Cleveland Baptist Church or be already involved with another church of like faith in the area

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Effectively teach a weekly music class for each elementary class
• Effectively teach private piano lessons
• Maintain adequate classroom records of grades, attendance, and behavior using the FACTS student information system
• Maintain a clean and orderly classroom where students obey and demonstrate respect
